Point of view/Culture
Section 1: The point of view for the first section is third person limited. It would be third person because it tells everyone's feelings and what they are thinking. ‘“me and Theresa. Gonna see the whole family. Par-r-r-ty.” He stopped dancing when he noticed Eddie staring”’(Albom 6). This shows the Audience that Dominguez was embarrassed when Eddie was staring at him.
Culture is pretty big in the first section because Eddie spends most of his time at Ruby pier.
Section 2: The point of view for the second section would be third person limited. The reason it would be third person limited is because it tells Eddies feelings and thoughts. ‘“You were a child when you knew me. Thats why, you start with the same feelings you had.” start what? Eddie thought.”’ (Albom 32). In this quote it shows the audience Eddies thoughts after the Blue Man told him something which shows third person limited.
The culture shown in the second section would be the Blue Man telling Eddie that he died in a car accident.
Section 3: The point of view of the third section is third person limited. This section would be third person limited because the author follows around Eddie in the book. ‘“ Its been...You look…” “Like the last time you saw me?” He grinned, then spat over the tree branch.”’ (Albom 64). This shows the audience what Eddie sees and it represents third person limited.
The culture in the third section is that Eddie went to war and they told a story of Eddie being in war.

It is third person limited because The author Mitch Albom follows Eddie around. ‘“Get up,” he yelled now, his words slurring, “and get a job.” Eddie stirred. His father yelled again.”’ (Albom 108). This shows the audience that Eddies dad was mad at Eddie for not getting up and doing anything and he told him to get a job.
This section has to do with our culture because the Eddies dad telling him to get a job and that Eddie and his dad didnt have a very good relationship.
Section 5: The point of view for the fifth section is third person limited. It is third person limited because the author follows Eddie around the whole section. ‘“Its not you, its not you, its not you,” Eddie mumbled as he dropped his head onto her shoulder and, for the first time since his death, began to cry.”’ (Albom 154). This shows the audience that Eddie was sad and happy at the same time because he got to meet his wife in heaven.
This section has to do with our culture because he has a true love.
Section 6: The point of view for the fifth section is third person limited. It is third person limited because the author Mitch Albom follows Eddie in the 6th section. ‘“She looked up “soldier” Eddie felt the word like a knife in his tongue. Images flashed through his head. Soldiers. Explosions. Morton. Smitty. The Captain. The flamethrowers.”’ (Albom 187). This shows the audience that Tala was the little girl that Eddie saw in the fire when he was at war and it reminded him everything about war.
This section has to do with our culture because you will sometimes regret the things you did in the past, and for Eddie it is not saving the little girl from the fire
